Capital Trial Advocacy Program: For the Defense | faculty
The purpose of this program was to present a comprehensive approach that enabled attorneys, case workers, and professional mitigators to write more compelling arguments on behalf of their clients. To that end, the two day seminar first focused on general principles of writing persuasively and then applied those principles to various writing samples. Attendees were then divided into small groups who were expected to rewrite--working closely with a faculty member--all or part of their projects using these principles.
